We inform you that finding accommodation in Barcelona is going to be really difficult and prices per night will suffer an important increase during the nights of 10th to 14 th march (due to an important fair that is taking place on the same dates), so we strongly recommend you make an early booking. The local organizing committee offers three possibilities:

- Accommodation at “Residència d’Investigadors” (literally: “Residence of Researchers”). More info.
- Accommodation through Activa Congresos. More info.
- Other. More info.

We have reserved 40 rooms at “Residència d'Investigadors” for Evolang 2008. The residence is located at the center of Barcelona (Hospital 64) and well connected with the Science Museum through public transportation. The prices are economic.

- SINGLE ROOM: working days 64 Euros / weekends 48 Euros (breakfast & VAT included).
- DOUBLE ROOM: working days 89 Euros / weekends 67 Euros (breakfast & VAT included).

BOOKING: To access these rooms, you must send an email to investigadors@resa.es and provide the reference of the reservation: 21.232. You must indicate your arrival and departure time and the type of room (single or double). In order to make a firm reservation you will be requested to provide your credit card number, which can be sent either by email (investigadors@resa.es) or FAX (+ 34 934428202).

Some participants have had problems with the address investigadors@resa.es. If you have not received a reply from this address after a reasonable time, please write, as soon as possible, an email to biolinguistica@ub.edu, forwarding the message that you sent to investigadors@resa.es.

DETAILS ABOUT THE ROOMS FOR EVOLANG 2008

- 3 single rooms: arrival March 11 and departure March 12 (1 night).
- 12 double rooms + 25 single rooms: arrival March 12 and departure March 16 (4 nights).

Activa Congresos, the company that collaborates with us in the organization of Evolang 2008, has booked rooms in different hotels (see below). You can use our online form.

RESERVATION: You can reserve your hotel by filling the online form. Your booking request will be processed as soon as the reservation form has reached the Technical Secretariat. It is not necessary to pay a deposit in advance. In order to guarantee your reservation we will only need your credit card details.

CANCELATION POLICY : Reservations cancellations must be made in writing to ACTIVA Congresos, not to the hotel.

- Cancellations before 15th February 2008 will have no penalty.
- Cancellations from 16th February and no-shows the total amount of your stay will be charged to your credit card.

SUBSTITUTION POLICY: We accept changes in the name of the reservation, but please inform in writing to ACTIVA Congresos, not to the hotel.

The CATALONIA CASTELLNOU hotel was built in 1970 and renovated in 2000. Its 49 rooms offer you all possible comforts. The hotel has its own restaurant, as well as parking facilities outside the building.
