On behalf of the Organizing Committee I would like to welcome you to the IV International Congress of Clinical Linguistics.

There are already many professionals in Spain who are interested in, and are part of the field of Clinical Linguistics, both from Linguistics and related disciplines like Neurology, Psychology or Speech Therapy. The IV International Congress of Clinical Linguistics takes the baton from the previous meetings: the 1st one celebrated in Valencia in 2006, the 2nd second held in Madrid in 2009, and the 3rd third that took place in Malaga in 2012.

It is an honor for the Organizing Committee to organize the event and we hope to follow the same path of success that the previous editions enjoyed. We are convinced that the international projection of the congress in Madrid, it has been consolidated and it will be equal in Barcelona, despite the limits imposed by the economic crisis.
